The Town of Wawarsing is holding a public Information Session regarding the Wawarsing Water District project. Session will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 5:30 pm outdoors under the Pavilion at the Elks Club located at 50 State Route 55 (23.26 miles) Napanoch, NY, 12458.
The Agenda will include an overview of the project including design, construction and schedule. The presentation will be approximately 30-45 minutes followed by Q&A.
Open to the public. All attendees must adhere to COVID-19 social distancing and mask requirements.

The Town will be at Lippman Park for easement signings. Properties located in the District that need to provide an easement can come by and sign the needed paperwork. A notary will be on sight to notarize your document.

Due to the (COVID-19) Coronavirus pandemic we have temporarily suspended obtaining easements needed for the Wawarsing Water District. The Town Board, Town Attorney, NYCDEP, and Chazen are working to establish a new set of procedures to restart the collection of easements needed for the project. We thank you for your patience as we develop a revised strategy.

Turkey Hill Area - The Town of Wawarsing will be visiting the Turkey Hill Area to obtain signatures for the easement of waterline to be located in the roadway. If you are not available on March 5th, please contact Tracy Moza at (845) 647-7800 ext 6.
Staff will start to visit homes in the Town to meet with homeowners and discuss how you want to bring water into your home. We need to meet with you to talk about the best route for a supply line coming from the road and how to connect into your existing plumbing.
